The NCNW Youth Groups aim to provide adolescent females with accurate information about life issues, prepare them for leadership roles, and to help them develop a strong sense of self, resiliency, and social skills, thus empowering them to make positive choices for their futures and reduce the risk of life threatening behavior.
We endeavor to build character in young women through mentorship and leadership programs.
Youth Sections are middle and high school girls, organized through an existing NCNW section who serves as mentors and advisors.
The Alton Section Youth received its charter in June 26, 2013
Our Mission
To help develop a strong sense of self resiliency and social skills to young ladies of color thus empowering them to make positive choices for their futures and reduce the risk of life-threatening behavior. This is accomplished through teaching, modeling, and leadership activities.
